Physical Education at Oakdale is leading a healthy and active lifestyle in which children develop fundamental skills in all lessons with an emphasis on enjoyment. We ensure that children are engaged in a highly stimulating PE curriculum where they work collaboratively recognising their successes within competitive and friendly activities.  As a Rights Respecting School we aim to ensure that every child has the right, ‘…to use and develop their talents and abilities (Article 29) and has the ‘right to play’ (Article 31)

What is the Sports Premium?

In April 2013, the Department for Education, health and Culture, Media and Sport announced funding for schools the improve the provision of P.E and sports in schools.  Our school received £19,260 for the year 2022-2023.
