Admission to Oakdale Junior School is administered by the London Borough of Redbridge.
 

Parents are welcome to visit the school prior to making their application. We hold a meeting each November for prospective parents, please contact the school office for more information or to book a tour.

In Year Transfers

Junior School Transfer:

When to apply

• Your child's birthday should fall between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021
• The application process opens on 1 September 2024
• The deadline for online on-time applications is 23.59 on 15 January 2025
• Important: This includes children currently attending an infant school, as there is no automatic transfer between an Infant school and a linked Junior school. However, children attending the linked Infant School have priority for places at the Junior School, as long as their parents have applied by the deadline of 15 January 2025. This application can only be made online.

Secondary School:

When to apply

• Your child's birthday should fall between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014
• The application process opens on 1 September 2024
• The deadline for online applications is 31 October 2024 

Admission Appeals

There is a Statutory Appeal process in place if you have evidence of an exceptional reason why your child should be given an place at the school you applied for and were refused a place.  This process is managed by the London Borough of Redbridge and not by the school.  To find out more information please click here.
