PTFA
The school has a committed Parent Teacher Friends Association (PTFA). The PTFA run a number fundraising events throughout the year which include Christmas and Summer Fayres that are held jointly with the Oakdale Infant School PTFA, discos and gift wraps. Money raised from these events is donated to the school and used to enhance pupils’ learning across the curriculum.
Recently this has included a sail canopy on the field, a subsidy to each year group towards the cost of a trip or in-house visit relating to the topic being studied and each classroom has benefited from money towards enhancing their book corners.
In addition to raising money for our school, the PTFA play a key role in bringing our community together which, in these challenging times, is something we are particularly proud of.
